Stretching 280 kilometres along the Loire River, the central Loire Valley between Sully-sur-Loire and Chalonnes-sur-Loire is recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage cultural landscape. More than 300 châteaux dot the region — the residue of a 500-year period when French kings preferred the valley's mild climate, gentle hunting forests, and navigable river to the cramped politics of Paris.
Why it's hard to reach by train
This is the practical truth: there is no direct train from Paris to most of the Loire châteaux. You can reach the towns of Tours or Blois by TGV in around 1h30, but from there you face local buses with limited timetables, shuttle services that run only in high season, or expensive local taxis that charge by the hour. Visiting two châteaux in one day by public transport is barely possible. Visiting three is realistic only with a private vehicle.
What our private transfer includes
A door-to-door full-day service. We pick you up at your Paris hotel, your apartment, or directly at CDG/Orly arrivals. Our chauffeur drives you to your chosen châteaux, waits at each site while you visit (no taxi meter running), recommends lunch spots, and brings you back to Paris in the evening. All tolls, parking, fuel and waiting time are included in the fixed price.

Château de Chenonceau
The "Ladies' Château" — its iconic gallery stretches across the river and has been shaped by six remarkable women, from Diane de Poitiers to Catherine de Medici.
Château d'Amboise
Childhood home of multiple French kings and final resting place of Leonardo da Vinci. The terraces overlooking the Loire are some of the finest in the region.
Clos Lucé
The manor where Leonardo da Vinci lived his final three years as guest of François I. His tomb is here; the gardens house working models of his inventions.
Château de Cheverny
Hergé's model for Captain Haddock's family seat in Tintin. Still privately owned, with one of the most intact 17th-century interiors in France.
Château de Villandry
Most famous for its meticulously designed Renaissance gardens — geometrical kitchen garden, water garden, ornamental garden — restored by Joachim Carvallo in 1906.
Château d'Azay-le-Rideau
A jewel of early French Renaissance, built on an island in the Indre river. Honoré de Balzac called it "a faceted diamond set in the Indre."
Vouvray Vineyards
Chenin Blanc heartland — sparkling, dry and sweet wines from chalky tuffeau caves. We can include a tasting stop at one of the appellation's leading estates.
