Stretching 280 kilometres along the Loire River, the central Loire Valley between Sully-sur-Loire and Chalonnes-sur-Loire is recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage cultural landscape. More than 300 châteaux dot the region — the residue of a 500-year period when French kings preferred the valley's mild climate, gentle hunting forests, and navigable river to the cramped politics of Paris.
This is the practical truth: there is no direct train from Paris to most of the Loire châteaux. You can reach the towns of Tours or Blois by TGV in around 1h30, but from there you face local buses with limited timetables, shuttle services that run only in high season, or expensive local taxis that charge by the hour. Visiting two châteaux in one day by public transport is barely possible. Visiting three is realistic only with a private vehicle.
A door-to-door full-day service. We pick you up at your Paris hotel, your apartment, or directly at CDG/Orly arrivals. Our chauffeur drives you to your chosen châteaux, waits at each site while you visit (no taxi meter running), recommends lunch spots, and brings you back to Paris in the evening. All tolls, parking, fuel and waiting time are included in the fixed price.
Unlike coach tours, your day is yours. Want to spend three hours at Chambord and skip Chenonceau? Done. Want to add a vineyard tasting in Vouvray, a long lunch at Auberge de Launay, or a stop at Leonardo da Vinci's house at Clos Lucé? We arrange it. You set the rhythm; we handle the logistics.
A curated selection of the most-visited and most-rewarding châteaux on our standard and custom routes.
The largest château in the Loire Valley, commissioned by François I and rumoured to bear the touch of Leonardo da Vinci. Its double-helix staircase is among the most famous in Europe.
The "Ladies' Château" — its iconic gallery stretches across the river and has been shaped by six remarkable women, from Diane de Poitiers to Catherine de Medici.
Childhood home of multiple French kings and final resting place of Leonardo da Vinci. The terraces overlooking the Loire are some of the finest in the region.
The manor where Leonardo da Vinci lived his final three years as guest of François I. His tomb is here; the gardens house working models of his inventions.
Hergé's model for Captain Haddock's family seat in Tintin. Still privately owned, with one of the most intact 17th-century interiors in France.
Most famous for its meticulously designed Renaissance gardens — geometrical kitchen garden, water garden, ornamental garden — restored by Joachim Carvallo in 1906.
A jewel of early French Renaissance, built on an island in the Indre river. Honoré de Balzac called it "a faceted diamond set in the Indre."
Chenin Blanc heartland — sparkling, dry and sweet wines from chalky tuffeau caves. We can include a tasting stop at one of the appellation's leading estates.
These are the most-requested routes for one-day trips. Each is fully adaptable to your interests, pace and group size.

"We visited Chambord, Chenonceau and Amboise in a single day — something we'd been told was impossible by train. The driver was patient at every stop and recommended a lunch place in Bracieux that we still talk about."
"Two days in the Loire with the same driver both days. He helped us check into our Amboise hotel, picked us up the next morning, and felt more like a family friend by the end. Truly exceptional service."
"My parents are in their seventies and a coach tour was out of the question. The private V-Class was perfect — air-conditioned, comfortable seats, driver who understood the pace they needed. They saw three châteaux and still had energy for dinner in Paris."
