Airport Transfer · 3rd & 4th Arrondissements

Private Transfer to the Le Marais

Le Marais is breathtaking — and nearly impossible to navigate by car for a driver who doesn't know it. Cobbled streets, pedestrian zones, one-way systems that change without notice, hotels tucked behind 17th-century carriage gates. We've been delivering passengers to the Marais for years. Your driver knows which approach actually works for your address.

The District

The historic heart of the Marais

"A great Marais driver knows that Rue des Rosiers is closed on Saturday afternoons and which courtyard belongs to which boutique hotel."— Local route knowledge

Why the Marais defeats most taxis

The Marais (3rd and 4th arrondissements) is a maze. Streets dating from the 13th century, never widened, often pedestrianised on weekends, with side alleys that don't appear on basic mapping apps. A taxi unfamiliar with the district will hit a closed Rue des Rosiers, attempt a Rue Vieille-du-Temple that's been one-way reversed, or fail to find your boutique hotel because the entrance is through a 17th-century porte cochère with no signage.

Boutique hotels behind hidden doors

Many of the most desirable Marais hotels — Le Pavillon de la Reine, Cour des Vosges, Hôtel Particulier, Hôtel Jules & Jim — sit behind unmarked doors on streets where stopping for 30 seconds risks a fine. Our drivers know the layout: where to pull up, where the porter or check-in staff will spot you, how to handle luggage transfer without blocking traffic.

What makes the Marais worth all this

The reward for getting it right: Place des Vosges (Paris's oldest planned square, built 1612), the Picasso Museum, the Pompidou Centre, the Jewish Quarter, the gallery streets of the upper Marais, and the best concentration of independent boutiques and bistros in central Paris. The neighbourhood feels lived-in and timeless at once.

Fixed price in a tricky district

Metered taxis often quote nervously for the Marais because of the navigation difficulty — and the fare can balloon if the driver gets stuck on the wrong one-way. Our €60 from CDG, €55 from Orly is locked. The complexity is our problem, not yours.

FAQ

Common questions

Normally 35 to 55 minutes. The Marais sits in the geographic centre of Paris, so the CDG approach from the north works well — usually faster than transfers to western Paris districts.
Yes — our drivers know the Marais hotels in detail. Many sit behind unmarked entrances on cobbled streets. Specify your exact hotel when booking and we'll match you with a driver familiar with that property.
Yes — the Marais has several permanent pedestrian zones (Rue des Rosiers on weekends, Rue Vieille-du-Temple in parts) and time-limited zones. Your driver will get you as close as legally possible — typically less than 50 metres from your door — and help with luggage from there.
Very close. The 4th arrondissement extends to the Seine and the Île de la Cité — Notre-Dame is a 10-minute walk from most Marais hotels.
Yes — we use V-Class vans regularly in the district. Our drivers know which streets accept the larger vehicle and which require dropping at the nearest accessible point. For groups of 4–7, the V-Class works in the Marais without issue.
Hotel prices in the Marais are comparable to the 6th and 7th — mid-to-high range. Transfer pricing is the same as for the 5th and 6th. Our €60 from CDG covers any Marais address regardless of postcode.
